The ideal candidate:
Is a talented DevOps Engineer who will enhance our infrastructure and streamline our development processes at Motion. This role is essential as we embrace new technology and adapt to an evolving landscape to provide cutting-edge tools for the automotive industry that are robust and efficient.
Will be instrumental in building and managing Kubernetes clusters to migrating 800+ sites for improved scalability and performance.
You enjoy collaboration as much as we do as you will be working closely with our development teams to optimize workflows, automate processes with Ansible, and are passionate about enhancing overall application performance and reliability.

In a nut shell you will:
-Kubernetes Management
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for efficient container orchestration.

-CI/CD Pipelines
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD to streamline deployment processes.

-Configuration Management
Automate configuration management and deployment workflows with Ansible.

-Collaboration
Partner with development teams to improve application performance and reliability.

-Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Monitor systems and troubleshoot issues in a Linux environment, including WordPress troubleshooting, to ensure optimal performance.

-Source Control Management
Uphold best practices in source control management and actively engage in code reviews.

-AWS
Leverage AWS to deploy and manage applications, ensuring our infrastructure is both resilient and efficient.

-Support
Provide Level 3 support ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption.

Does this sound like you?

Essentials:

-Experience: 3+ years in a DevOps or similar role.
-Kubernetes: Proven experience in managing container orchestration with Kubernetes.
-Jenkins: Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines.
-GitLab CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD workflows using GitLab.
-Docker: Strong knowledge of creating and managing Docker containers and images.
-Ansible: Expertise in automation and orchestration using Ansible.
-Linux: Proficiency in Linux administration and troubleshooting, including WordPress troubleshooting.

Advantageous:
-Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS
-Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
-Excellent English communication and collaboration skills

Certifications:
-AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
-Kubernetes Administrator Certification (CKA)
-Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
